Apple has sent out the first correspondence in the form of an email to all those who have signed up to learn more about the iPhone. The email reads:

Thanks for signing up. You’ll be the first to hear the latest about iPhone - coming this June. That gives you just enough time to think of ways to break the news to your current phone.


The email reiterates a June arrival date and again informs us in the small disclaimer that the device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained.
