If this is the way it’s going to be, then so be it. iPhoneChat is one of the first and latest iPhone web applications for the iPhone.

Use your mouse to flick (drag and release) your buddy list up and down like you’re supposed to on the iPhone. Click a buddy to start a conversation. You can open multiple conversations… flick left/right to change conversations.
This is an early version, so as expected there are limitations. It does how ever allow you to log into your iChat/AIM account with buddy list support.
