Today at 6PM local time, iPhone will be available across the United States.
Here’s the Top 20 essential things you may or should be
looking for today or in the next few days. Make sure you go through the list
even before opening the box. If you’re lost, this list should help you find

1. Check the iPhone’s availability for all
Apple Stores. After June 29th, iPhone’s availability may be a problem. You might want to check that before you go to you local Apple Store.
2. Find an AT&T store that sells iPhone. Only corporate AT&T stores carry iPhone for now.
3. Two iPhone
models are available. The 4Gb at $499 and 8Gb at $599. You need to sign a two year contract with AT&T to buy an iPhone. If you want to end the contract early, you will have to pay a $175 cancellation fee .
4. iPhone is activated using
iTunes version 7.3 (released on June 29th). Here’s a step by step video explaining the online activation.
5. Here’s the AT&T Terms and Conditions. DON’T OPEN THE BOX if you’re not sure you want to keep iPhone. You only have three days to return iPhone for a full refund.

7. For the initial sales event, iPhone is limited to one per person at AT&T stores and two at Apple Stores.

11. The iPhone Safari browser can’t read Flash and Javascript. Many websites use these technologies and won’t work on iPhone.
