The unusual success of iPhone brings to Apple not only positive results. For example, scientists from research group Quantum Research have already submitted one judicial claim, accusing the company in infringement of the patent for the touch technology used in players iPod Nano and now study all materials to iPhone, stating new suspicions.

Research group Quantum Research is in Southampton and is engaged in research activity in the field of touch technologies. Researchers believe, that under description of iPhone, it is possible to make a conclusion that in it used technology of carrying over a charge, patented by Quantum Research . This technology has been invented by founder and chief executive of research group Hal Fillipp. Now only Motorola has rights to use this technology .

The same technology was applied at creation of a touch wheel to a player iPod Nano companies Apple, as has served as an occasion to proceeding between companies. In spite of the fact that other ways of realisation of such touch wheel are known, all of them have a number of lacks interfering successful introduction of technology in manufacture. Because of it, apparently, company Apple also has been compelled to use this technology in iPhone.
