Company Elgato Systems has released Turbo.264 1.1, software update for hardware converter of video USB Elgato Turbo.264, which has included many new functions, such as support of Apple iPhone, possibility manually set up options of video converting.

Version 1.1 now included two presets for communicator iPhone, which switch all convertings corresponding options to recommended by Apple: video with 4:3 display with resolution 480×360 and 16:9 with resolution 480𝗎 pixels.

Users can set up and save their own presets. You can set up such parametres of video as size, a parity of sides, picture frequency and bitrate, and also to specify parametres of converting of a sound. These options can be saved for subsequent use.

New functions on DVD are added. Now you can specify manually sound tracks of  DVD and associate them with the basic track of video. Besides large-format video management is improved, speed of work is raised, some corrections are made.

Elgato Turbo.264 is on sale for 100$. The complete set includes hardware converter USB 2.0, software, user’s guide on CD, instructions and USB cable.

System requirements: Mac OS X v10.4 and above, processor G4/G5 or Intel, 512MB RAM, QuickTime 7.1.5 and above, iTunes 7.1.1 and above.
