It seems that Apple has already prepared iTunes player for possibility of loading and copying of games on iPhone communicator. It isn’t a question of Web-applications which are already accessible through a Web-browser of Apple iPhone.
Such assumption was admitted by bloggers from DownloadSquad after they have studied localisation lines of iTunes, where the code fragment under heading “iPhone Game Item Strings” was found out (”lines for games on iPhone”) in which the text lines are used, offering to remove the chosen games from your iPhone.

It visually shows, that in future Apple plans through service iTunes to sell games specially developed for iPhone which will be possible to synchronise with the device after downloading on your computer, like you can do with music, video and other content.
Recently at QuakeCon conference in Dallas, the founder and the technical director of “id Software” John Carmack has expressed interest of the company to use Apple iPhone as a game platform, having noticed, that the command of id Software developers is already appointed for application developing for this platform. Then he has stated criticism, that Apple device “is still closed” for foreign developers.
At last, wave of iPhone updates has even reached section with advertising of Apple iPhone on Apple.com - at Friday there appear sixth and seventh releases under names “Instead“ and “Amazing“: close ups of iPhone, and an offscreen voice slowly describes advantages of new Apple communicator - “why to carry in a pocket iPod and cellular phone if all your music and your favorite movies perfectly find room in your new mobile phone - Apple iPhone?”
Especially if you remember, “how much it is possible to put into today’s modern gadgets, like Apple iPhone - of course, music, your e-mails, a fresh magazines, treasures of YouTube and, certainly, a mobile phone”. Nothing especial, however this advertising has been shooted qualitatively and soundly, no doubt.

Idea, of course, is very good, but how we will strafe on iPhone, or how we will do roket-jumps and many other things? For me, Apple iPhone mostly suits for logic games and strategies. And every game, that demands hand-job, leave to desktop computers.
