seems interesting, iPhone from Mac is bit driving me from many days, but not able to get dragging process. SO I prefer Step-by-step Manual | Apple iPhone Community in Europe. That cool nae!

great, but still cant read the contacts on the mac after the backup, tried dragging the AddressBook.sqlitedb to address book, nada

If you are using 1.1.3 then /var/root/Library/ is no longer the path for the user data, substitute the path for /private/var/mobile/Library/
e.g
SMS. /private/var/mobile/Library/SMS/sms.db

What about a PC? I have an iPhone, but don’t own a mac!! I can’t find instructions like this anywhere for PC users. :( please help
