Eldar Murtazin, the head of MobileReview.com continues to investigate Apple iPhone. Now he shares opnion on the basic feature of every phone - calls. Hardware aspects and program features of iPhone are compared with Nokia N95.

If with SMS we found out, that Apple designed nothing special in this field. Then basic mobile phone functions works well, the device sends/receives calls, and it is already good. Ergonomics of an address book, phone numbers typing and everything, that is connected with calls, was remained at the level of the last century, no kidding. The iPhone’s user spends for operation of usual number typing twice more time. With at least 15 calls per day you will get from 6 till 9 hours of free time for a year.

Quality of a sound - average, algorithms of improvement of quality of speech are simply absent. Absence of a vocal set of number looks very strange for so high level model as iPhone, and also with such technical decision, as the touch screen. If Nokia would decided to release on the market the device with absence of a vocal set, and it would shamed in one moment.

Well this is personal opinion of one of the most famous specialists in mobile market in Russia. Every person has the rights for own opinion, I disagree with Eldar. We have to understand that Apple iPhone is the first of the kind, and you can’t create the perfect thing from the first try, it’s impossible.
