Popular British magazine T3, referring to the source in BBC, informs that today will take place the official debut of the European version of iPhone which will get 3G support.

The information is very avaricious. So this night BBC will broadcast Apple announcement where the company will present the new version of iPhone and declares the beginning of its sales in Great Britain. Also it is noticed, that iPhone 2G will have support of 3G networks.

Let me remind, that Apple presentation will begin today in San Francisco at 19 o’clock CET, therefore if T3 announcement is correct, than new iPhone 2G will be declared very very soon.

So what are the chances? I think 50/50. Yes Apple has promised to release iPhone till the end of this year, and during last month the company has signed all necessary contracts with European cellular communication carriers. But, so long-awaited start would be more logic on one of the European exhibitions. For example, during Apple Expo in Paris which starts in the end of September.
Well we don’t have to wait a long time to know the Truth…
