Analysts will continue their debats for a long time - so radical iPhone’s price reduction was a planned Apple’s step or this is desperate attempt to increase sales volumes of so called “the revolutionary device”?

However the fact remains the fact. At the end of special press conference Jobs declared changes in Apple iPhone model series: “We want, iPhone to become accessible to larger number of people”. For this purpose Apple company has decided to remove from sales 4GB’s iPhone model, but retail price iPhone 8GB has lowered in one and a half times from $600 to $400! How about that!!! Recent iSuppli researches show, that the self price of this model is no more than $300…Of course this is a huge strike on all cellular phone manufacters, and consequences of this announcement knows only God…

Despite the fact that iPhone 4GB already has gone from Apple’s online shop, it still can be purchased in some retail stores. As eyewitnesses inform, its costs about 300$.

Thereupon has appeared a quite reasonable question - is it possible now to get compensation from this 200-dollar difference in prices somehow? Officially - not. In Apple Store shops have confirmed, that the refund is carried out only within 14 days since purchasing moment, 14 days and no longer.

However immediately has appeared some precedents when the indignant buyers has received a difference minus the 10 percent penalty for goods reception/delivery. (Technically it looks like this: the buyer returns to the shop iPhone for 599$ and then immediately purchases it back for 399$). The return is 160$.

We think, in the near future will follows Apple’s official explanation. But it won’t helps those who buy “unlocked” iPhone for 1000$, 1200$ or even 1800$ in Russia or China.

Let’s me remind you, Apple plans to sell one million iPhones till the end of this September. Earlier only pessimists was doubted that Apple company won’t make it. Well we have to wait only 24 days to get the truth…
