Apple Gazette has released their first iPhone application called iRing 2.0 which automates the process of creation ringtones for your Apple iPhone, and helps you add these ringtones to the iPhone.
“Today, I’m very happy to introduce Apple Gazette’s very first piece of software. A very simple Automator built application based on this tutorial for converting AAC files into ringtones for the iPhone.”
The only problem is that we have to found out what version of iTunes do you have, and then to follow instructions:
So if you have iTunes 7.4.1 read step-by-step manual from Engadget.
And of course you can use the original method:
* Create your ringtone by saving it as an AAC file.
* Rename the m4a extension to m4r.
* Double-click to play in iTunes.
But if you are upgraded to iTunes 7.4.1 version, use this method:
* Go back and re-rename that m4r file back to m4a. That’s it.
* Plug in your iPhone and that ringtone will be added to your syncable ringtones list — and it won’t pop up the error from before.
The main problem here is that you can add only one ringtone. This is where you will need amazing iRing application, that simplifies this process. The iRing application is available for free download from HERE.
Read the developer’s notes very carefully, one of the main moments - you must close iTunes player must be closed before installation of iRing 2.0.
iRing 2.0 has been developed to cooperate with iTunes 7.4.1 version, if you have lower version of itunes , download the original version of iRing.

Pretty interesting post was found on iPhonehacks.com website. How do you think this close up picture of cigarettes was taken? Is it Canon EOS or Nikon D80 or another half-proffesional or professional photocamera? What would you say if I told you that this photo was taken with iCamera on Apple iPhone? How about that?

Believe it or not, this photo was taken with Apple iPhone 2 Mpix camera looking through the lens of a microscope. I found this and some another very beautiful pictures on Flickr.
This is how this photo genius explains the possibilities of iPhone’s photocamera.
“Since the iPhone camera lens is flush mounted to the perfectly flat back of the device, it’s easy to have the camera peer into any kind of magnifier or microscope. The possibilities are endless for mobile microscopy.”

So don’t believe to people who said that iPhone’s camera is cheap and completely unprofessional product and the quality of pictures is owfull, as you can see from this photo, the main problem is not the iPhone itself, but the person who holds in hands this gadget.
Last night Apple has dispatched to a number of the British mass-media the invitation to a special press conference which will take place on September, 18th.
Though the company does not disclose details of this conference yet, people are waiting, that during this show will be declared official start of Apple iPhone in Europe.
It is curious, that this invitation is mysteriously named as “Mum is no longer the word” - the meaning of these words is still unsloved. Thus the word-combination “mum’s word” means “keep a secret”.

Let me remind you, that at the end of this August have appeared rumors that Apple has signed all necessary contracts with a number of the European mobile communication carriers to release their communicator in Europe. Representatives of Apple in Germany have informed, that during this day will be declared the European carriers with whom will co-operate Apple. So, iPhone will be represented by T-Mobile in Germany, Orange SA in France, O2 in Great Britain.
This is a very good time to come into European market: traditionally in September the market starts to prepare for Christmas boom of the market. So Apple should hurry up to prepare iPhone for Europe.
