Apple has made a decision to double iPhone’s manufacture amounts. They explain this decision with a huge popularity of iPhone. This announcement has made sources very close to Apple company itself.

Apple for the next quarter has planned to release only 1,54 million devices, however now they intend to release about 2,7 million iPhones.
Thus, Apple plan to release almost 4,8 million gadgets for 2007, while from the beggining Apple has thought about 3,6 million iPhones. I want to note that we are speaking about released iPhones, not sold iPhones. As we know for this moment Apple has sold about 1,1 million devices.
