As informs BlogNation, during next weeks TruPhone company will throw out on the market the first VoIP-client for Apple iPhone which will allow to make phone calls through Wi-Fi without a connection to the mobile carrier.

Developers already managed to get the working version of this software but for this moment we can’t call this soft even as the alpha version - it requires “ritual dances” in the Terminal for redirection of a call from the SIM-module on Wi-Fi, and it is necessary also “to unlock” Apple’s gadget.
However the general concept of TruPhone’s soft is already generated and is more, than a real. At a current stage the main problem is the automation of all actions of the user. If all goes how they plan, in October all Apple iPhone’s users will receive a new software widget, through which you can make calls to other TruPhone clients and to a real numbers. We don’t know, how iPhone’s will pay for these calls, but judging by Skype model this is not a biggest problem.
Watch this amazing video from DEMO-fall exhibition in San-Diego, where two guys talk to each other through Wi-Fi, and their iPhone were not unlocked.
Open beta-testing of TruPhone soft should begin within next four weeks, however the quantity of participants will be limited.
