The closed status of Apple iPhone’s platform and huge mad crowd of owners of unlocked iPhones is very Good reason which try to use every Apple’s competitor. Nokia is the biggest Apple’s competitor, no doubt, but they are afraid of Apple. Why? Because today Nokia has announced new advertising campaign with the slogan “Open to anything”.

“We think, that the best world gadgets should be deprived of restrictions - for this reason in our Nokia Nseries devices we use the open platform. Open to programs. Open to widgets. Open to all. All depends only on you” - this is the greeting on an official site of N-series mobile phone. Besides the Internet, Nokia has published their thoughts on posters in New York city - right after the release of new iPocalypse 1.1.1 update for Apple iPhone.

Phones should be open to all. The best devices have no limits - these two bright slogans represent the position of Nokia concerning own Nseries gadgets. Well, i love Apple iPhone, no matter what, but Nokia’s position is much more pleasant for me…

So do you know what is the real market share of Apple’s laptops in the world? Five percent? Ten percent? No, it’s more, much more. And now we have the photo-proof, this photo speaks for itself…

It’s not a flashmob and even not an opening of MacWorld exhibition in January,07, this is just an ordinary lecture at School of Journalism in Missouri. Someone has speaking about Five percent, i don’t think so.

Recently Ars Technica, referring on own sources in Cupertino, has announced that Apple has prepared a new development package for Apple iPhone. However Ars Technica having explained, that the main purpose of this package will be web-applications.

Some time ago the company has already received criticism for decision not to open Apple’s gadget for foreign developers, limited them with creation of web-widgets. First, widgets can work only through a web-browser, but also widgets have very poor functionality. This month a new complete set of development could be released, however we cannot wait for any radical changes in it - probably will shall have the opportunity to work with the local data without neccessity access to the Internet.

One question: why Apple so diligently tries to push developers from iPhone? Jobs has explained that Apple care about AT&T - “we do not want, that all cellular network of West Coast has crashed because of one “enraged” application”. However, there is rumors that the true reason is a completely different. According to mass-media from Far East, the next versions of iPhone will be constructed on Intel Ultra Mobile Platform architecture and new Intel processors. Taking into account, that now inside Apple’s gadget there is ARM processor we are speaking about further change of a platform.

Thus there is an opinion, that Apple separating now from developers, because the company tries to protect them from superfluous work, and offer to wait for a new version of Apple iPhone.

To tell the truth, there is one thing. The official start of Intel Ultra Mobile platform is planned only on 2009. And it means, that in this case we should wait the whole year? Ups…
