Release of “Leopard” will mean not only amazing new opportunities for Mac owners, but also expanded Apple iPhone functionality - at least, the RoughlyDrafted blog author Daniel Eran has come to a conclusion, that in the final version of Mac OS X 10.5 will appear the opportunity of synchronization of Notes with Apple’s mobile phone.

Notes - relative new function in Mac OS X, for the first time shown in the last year on first presentation of “Leopard”: then it has appeared as a part of new Mail 3.0 post client, but subsequently it was widely used in entire system. Inherently Notes is specifically formatted in HTML email messages, which are stored in IMAP-mailboxes and has a specific font and background. Thus, according to the Apple’s description, in Notes “the text of various colors and the embedded files” can be used, and it is possible to request these files from any Mac or PC.

Though Apple never mentioned about the use of Notes from OS X Leopard in iPhone, research of the last versions of new operational system has shown, that Notes synchronization with Apple iPhone is already embedded in Leopard: if after creation of a new note you will try to convert it in RTF format, the system will react to such action by the immediate warning: ” … Rich text Notes may not be editable on iPhone or other devices”.

Conclusions from this unique screenshot are extremely optimistic: “it for certain will considerably increase a practicality of Notes application in iPhone, today realization of this app allows only transformation of a note to email and does not provide import of notes or their synchronization”.
