The famous 9to5mac web-resource informs that some software manufacturers already work together with Apple on release of official applications for iPhone’s OS X operational system. Among them - giant Electronic Arts which adapts for iPhone available iPod games.

9to5mac predicts, that Apple will distribute applications for iPhone using similar to T-Mobile Sidekick model. 3rd-party developers give T-Mobile their applications for testing, and if the company admits their stable, safe and potentially interesting to clients, users of T-Mobile can upload them using the special integrated service, and they pay for these games - at the end of a month together with their T-Mobile bill.

So it means, that we won’t be surprised if Apple, having released a recent 1.1.1 update firmware, has forbidden installation of any 3rd-party applications for iPhone’s OS X. Most likely, the company further will put a maximum of efforts to direct development of 3rd-party apps for iPhone to an “official” channel.
