The Green Peace asserts, that iPhone has prevented Steve Jobs to constrain the promise to make Apple the “ecologically safe” company.

Such conclusion have made ecologists after series of tests which have been carried out recently in the Great Britain. They inform, that Apple iPhone has such substance, as ecologically harmful polyvinyl chloride. Besides if someone would like to burn out iPhone - during burning iPhone will extract very harmful substances. It concerns to 18 iPhone’s parts, both internal and external.

Use of polyvinyl chloride in manufacture of cellular telephones is not illegal, but this is very harmful substance. For example, it is forbidden to make toys from it, as well as any other goods intended for children.

The Green Peace is very dissatisfied with position of Apple and how they are going to replace the iPhone’s batteries which have served out. First, batteries are hidden in the case of Apple’s gadget. Second, Cupertino does not offer any program of the replacement and the subsequent reproduction of old batteries. Nokia and Sony Ericsson have such program.

Though this year the Green Peace has raised the “ecological” status of Apple, but ecologists still have hundreds claims to the company.
