Representatives of Orange - the French carrier of mobile communication yesterday have organized a small sensation when they have declared that they will sell iPhones in two modifications. It will be possible to buy Apple’s device for 399 Euro with a binding to the provider, and for a certain “premium-price” will be possible to purchase a completely “unlocked” Apple iPhone. The exact price for unlocked version will be declared closer to November, 29th - the date of the official start of sales of Apple iPhone in France.

As experts admit, Orange have compelled Apple to make this step because of the French laws, according to which it is forbidden to sell cellphones only with the contract, always should be an “open” variant. It is possible, that exactly it was a true reason of a delay of the iPhone’s announcement in this country.

Apple has not yet commented this message from the partner but if it appears truth, many people (and not only in France) will celebrate a freedom of the most advanced cellphone in the world, and someone will lose the profitable business on “unlocking” Apple’s devices.

While in this history confuses only two facts. First, Orange already has made an announcements which Cupertino later denied. And second… What will be a “premium-price” of a free Apple iPhone? Today the price of official “unlocked” iPhone in Europe is $560. It’s for $161 higher than original locked version of iPhone…
