iPhones.ru has published very interesting FAQ concerning icons management in Apple iPhone.
Many users, after installation of huge amount of applications from Installer, have faced the problem, that some icons “run away” for borders of iPhone’s desktop (in phone desktop has been called SpringBoard), as we know by default iPhone’s desktop could hold 16 icons (4×4). Some users would like to change the order of icons on desktop, or to make in the bottom menu 5 icons. Well this FAQ is certainly for you.

You have noticed, that YouTube and Stocks are absent on this screenshot - i don’t use these apps, therefore I “have hidden″ these icons.
All these beautiful actions you can make using utility called Customize which could be downloaded through Installer.app. I won’t describe all functions of this amazing utility, and I shall stop only on iPhone′s desktop management.
Install Customize through Installer.app, then launch it and go to “rSBT” (recombinant SpringBoard Technology).

Now you can start to move icons: click 2 times on icon and when to the right of it will appear few strips, we move it to the desired place.

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you will see field called “Hidden” where you can store all “unnecessary” applications. That’s it, very simple and very useful utility with great capabilities - Customize.
