Famous iPhone Elite Dev team have unlocked iPhone with 1.1.2. firmware. You can download it from the Google code site. This is unconfirmed rumor for this moment, few hours later one of Tuaw.com users has clarified that this is not actually jailbreake. iPhone Elite Dev team has basically managed to downgrade iPhone from v1.1.2 to v1.0.2 or v1.1.1 and then unlock it again.

Guys haven’t actually unlocked the iPhone with 1.1.2 firmware, but this is very good news for all owners of unlocked iPhones. Now you can reanimate your Apple iPhone and downgrade it in case you accesidentially upgrade it to 1.1.2 version. Of course this is not so fast as iPod Touch jailbreake, but the first step has been made, no doubt.

Todays guys from TUAW.com have informed that five hackers from iPhone/iPod team under nicks Pumpkin, Edgan, Dinopio, Drudge, Kroo have already managed to jailbreake iPod Touch with 1.1.2 firmware.
