Recently comrades from iPhoneWorld have published very interesting post concerning new stylish leather case designed for Apple iPhone by OrionGadgets group. Read this review below.
The OrionGadgets Horizontal iPhone Pouch Type Case has a few features to praise and some faults that really cannot go unmentioned, so they won’t. I’ll try to do both in my review.
The OrionGadgets case for iPhone resembles the very common, horizontal pouch cases made for the Samsung Blackjack and Motorola Q. It is very thin and accommodates the size of the iPhone very well. It protects the iPhone when inside against bumping against something and possibly scratching the surface.

The case also stays securely clipped on when attached to your belt or pocket. The iPhone is secured inside by a leather latch that then clamps down with a very strong magnet, similar to the style made popular by the Covertec brand. The case seems like it’s made of lower grade black leather but is trimmed in an attractive white stitching that gives the OrionGadgets iPhone case a more expensive look.
However this case does have a couple of flaws. When the iPhone is in the case the speaker is blocked by a piece of elastic material that is stitched in to both ends of the case. That causes a significant decrease in ringer volume on a phone that already has had its share of speaker volume complaints.

Furthermore, the OrionGadgets iPhone case has no additional protective lining inside as you will find in most hip cases today. We know the iPhone is made with very scratch resistant materials but with this case the worry is that it could potentially cause tiny little scratches each time you take your phone out or put it back in after extensive use (worst case scenario, of course).
Final thought:
This really isn’t a bad case. It looks classy good, handmade from real leather and stays on your belt pretty well. It arrives packaged nicely in a box close in size to the what your iPhone is shipped in and comes with a belt clip. However, at this price point ($25 US dollars – although it does include free shipping) you have quite a few other choices. The only important question I guess is what suits your needs and wants best? For me, I see a better option or two available from OrionGadgets’s website.

Some days ago i already wrote about the amount of sold Apple iPhones in Germany - i mean the very first day of sales - on Monday the German carrier of mobile communication T-Mobile was reported about ten thousand sold Apple’s devices. The statistics from UK have come only today: representatives of O2 have informed about a pleasant surprise - total amount of Apple iPhones, activated during the first day, is 8000 gadgets - almost three times more than expectations of O2 experts, which shy dreamed about three thousand sold devices.

So now nobody can say a word about Apple iPhone’s fall in Europe directly on start, and of course we cannot not trust to this insider rumor - this information was published by very reliable and trustful comrades from Ars Technica. Some additional details - exact validities of the contract between Apple and O2 (five years of exclusive iPhone sales in United Kingdom, not bad at all), one more portion of avaricious data about new iPhone with 3G support, and the specified date of the release of second generation of Apple iPhone - “the end of the next year”, so be patient, my friend.
