John Carmack, one of Doom creators, has criticized Apple strategy concerning production of games with mobile content. The father of a game of “all times” admits, that miscalculations in promotion of games for iPod/iPhone in the future will negatively affect on sales of these devices. Recently Carmack has developed a new company called “id Mobile” which will be engaged in creation and distribution of high-quality mobile game applications.
