When about the new version of Apple iPhone speaks not only every third analytic, but also the closest Apple’s partner, all have to understand these words very carefully. Today during an official supper in Churchill Club the head of AT&T has promised, that Apple iPhone with 3G support will appear in 2008.

Thus he did not begin to specify a precise date of the release of new Apple iPhone v2.0, and even has refused to comment its possible price. As he has declared, the price for iPhone “is completely dictated by Mr. Steve Jobs″.

Apple has already had time to answer with official silence on this initiative of their partner, however earlier Steve Jobs has expressed his opinion on this question: as soon as 3G support will consumptive energy more effectively, it will immediately appear in Apple iPhone. As he said, if usual cell phone in a conversation mode can hold up to 5-6 hours, than 3G reduces this parameter till 2-3 hours, which is absolutely unacceptable for the device of the given class.

It is expected, that by the end of 2008 will appear new technologies which will take care with 3G, but until then, iPhone users should use EDGE/Wi-Fi.

Let me remind you, that transfer to networks of the third generation will allow to increase a speed of wireless data transfer from present 500kbps up to 3,6Mbps, and it is comparable with a speed of the normal Internet-channel. 3G is our future, no doubt…
