As we know, in Apple iPhone v1.1.2 “icon-square” means GPRS when EDGE is accessible - E letter.Well for me this icon-square is so boring. Let’s replace it with something more distinct:

Download ZIP-archive (15 Kb) and upload your favorite files in iPhone’s folder /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app. After that restart your iPhone.

This method allows to change EDGE icon in iPhone v1.1.1. You have to create a PNG-file (20×20 pix) and upload it into this folder. That’s it, very simple iPhone’s hack.
