SysInfo utility from Installer.app has shown different clock frequencies of iPhone’s processor and a system cache of two iPhones, v1.1.1 and v1.1.2. Apple iPhone with later firmware v1.1.2 frequency of the processor is dispersed from 400MHz up to 412MHz (+3%), and cache - from 100MHz up to 103MHz (+3%) in comparison with v1.1.1. Of course you won’t feel such small changes of frequencies. Probably, so much insignificant overcloaking has been made with some technical reasons.
As we know, ARM-processor of Apple iPhone is capable to work on frequencies up to 620-667Mhz, but Apple constrains full power of iPhone’s hardware to increase battery’s service life.
