According to the French carrier of mobile communications - Orange, 680 Orange shops have sold for the first five days about 30 thousand Apple iPhones, that is much higher than all preliminary forecasts.

Week earlier representatives from Orange have designated the plan of the company concerning iPhone sales during this month - 100 thousand devices. However now it seems, that they have to correct this data even in view of reduction in demand for Apple’s device.

According to this information, approximately 80 percent of iPhone buyers prefer to choose one of three tariff plans developed specially for Apple′s device. But the most pleasant is that everyone second buyer before Orange have used competing services.

“It is very good result, especially taking into account, that each second iPhone purchase brings to us a new user’s line″, speaks Louis-Pierre Wenes, the executive director of Orange in the French region. “It confirms our calculations, that iPhone becomes the active tool of recruitment of new users in France”.

It is necessary to notice, that in France Apple’s device is sold much better, than in the Great Britain where O2, according to the unchecked data, for two weeks has brought only 26,5 thousand Apple iPhones. As well as Orange, British also intend up to the end of this year to sell 100 thousand devices.
