Dev Team has released essentially new unlock (more precisely an universal tool: iPhone activator-jailbreak-unlock) which works completely differently. Details in this video. As new iPhone firmware will not be till this summer (the moment of start of new 3rd party apps), we can sleep very deep. By the way, even “that” firmware for developers is powerless in front of PWNAGE tool. All details you can find HERE.

The important remarks:

    - Do not interrupt unlocking process. Some operations demand very long time to end. Also do not allow your iPhone to be switched off during unlocking process. Very important - Do Not interrupt “unlocking″ process.
    - BootNeuter for start demands root rights to unload CommCenter and to get access to interactive Bootloader. Thus, BootNeuter should be installed through Pwnage or using other method which will give to this utility root rights.
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp - Optimum options for the end user - Neuter=On, FakeBlank=Off, Unlock=On. If you are developer, switch FakeBlank in position On. In any case do not worry, all could be restored through BootNeuter.
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp - During long unlocking process you will sometimes receive Wi-Fi dialogue windows . They can be simply closed without a harm for the process and iPhone itself.
