Your Apple iPhone or iPod Touch is capable to play video with much higher resolution in spite of the fact that Apple has managed to limit this feature. According to Ars Technica, the iPhone can reproduce video files with the maximum resolution at 640×480 and frequency in 30fps, but, actually, you can watch standard movie with even 720х576 pixels and frequency in 25fps. Most likely, it is made for different continents: North America and Europe, where video stream transfer is in PAL DVD format with 720х576 resolution.
