Answer: You can interrupt Installer’s automatic updating in two ways:
1) If updating process has already gone, hold Home button for 6 seconds - this will compulsorily close not only Installer app itself, but also any iPhone’s application

2) Install InstaFresh utility from a repository iphone.sleepers.net/repo.xml (Utilities). This cool utility allows to manage a process of Installer’s repositories update.

If you do not want, to start Refresh, put tick Set to Today then Installer will consider, that update already was and will not guzzle your traffic. Enjoy it.
