Posted by admin as iPhone Applications
Recently in Installer has appeared a new mobile antivirus called iVirusScan from McAfee, that at once has caused a question: WHY? Mac OS on which works the iPhone, hasn’t viruses at all: half of viruses mentioned for last 2 years - simply ducks, other half - proof-of-concept, created with use of malfunctions which have been corrected during one month from the moment of the publication.
I suspect, that iVirusScan has been released not so much for iPhone protection, but for prevention of penetration of viruses in Windows through
Apple iPhone, after all Apple’s cell phone can be used as a flash card, and upload/download files using iPhone PC Suite (Win), iFuntastic (Mac OS) or through SSH/sFTP.
