President of AT&T Glenn Lurie in interview to Gizmodo has told, that iPhone 3G will be activated directly in Apple store at purchase. Also a procedure of activation will take only 10-12 minutes.
And it means, that we cannot buy Apple’s device in online Apple Store. And this has caused a beginning of sales of iPhone 3G in the countries where iTunes Store is not present.
Not so great news from Apple and AT&T, but new iPhone is worth it.
