This time it is a video in which it is shown how they have cracked the loader of new iPhone 3G:

 

At start of the iPhone this utility decides, what software it will load,using a check of the digital signature. PWNAGE this check breaks and allows to start any application during iPhone switching on.

Now “to patch this hole” Apple will need to change hardware part of iPhone 3G, and this is not so easy … they will not ask all users to return devices on repair. Dev Team rules, keep on working guys. The world is with you.
