PhotoShop iPhone app

Dominate Mafia Wars Strategy Guide

Zoom User Reviews The official PhotoShop app for your iPhone is here from Adobe. The app called PhotoShop.com Mobile is a free app that works with both iPhone and iPod touch and gives you a bunch of cool features for editing photos on your iPhone with a breeze. You can edit photos, upload them to your PhotoShop.com account from your iPhone and view your online photos from the iPhone app as well. The app has four main tabs: Edit, Online, Upload, and Settings. Edit: Here is the crust of the PhotoShop app’s great functionality. You can select any photo on your iPhone or take a new one. The edit screen in the PhotoShop app is very sleek and sharp with large text and shiny icons that make using it quite easy to pickup even for a novice user. In edit mode you will see undo and redo buttons as well as apply, and exit editing options. There are 4 main action menus: Basics, Color, Filters, and Effects. The Basics let you crop, rotate and flip photos around. As with almost all the actions in the PhotoShop app, you use simple touch and drag actions on the iPhone screen to send commands. For example to flip a photo, just flick it with your fingers up or down, and to rotate it you just drag from left to right. The crop feature shows you a transparent grid selector that you can drag to your desired length. When cropping a photo you can easily lock the aspect ratio by tapping the lock icon and choosing 1:1 3:4 4:3 if you wish. While you are done just tap the green check mark, or red x to cancel the change. The Color menu comes with Exposure, Saturation, Tint, and Black & White effects. Once again, you simple drag on top of the photo from left to right to adjust the settings for each effect. On top of the screen, a number counter shows you the +/- changes as you drag. There are 2 Filters currently in the PhotoShop iPhone app: Sketch, and Soft Focus. There are 8 effects: Vibrant, Pop, Border, Vignette, Blur, Warm Vintage, Rainbow, White Glow, Soft Black and White. Keep in mind that effects are done one at a time. So if you wanted to do both a border and a blur, you would have to go into the effects menu and tap the apply button, once for each effect. There seems to be unlimited undos supported in the app. Once you’re done tap the save button, which lets you either save the photo to your iPhone, or save and upload it to your PhotoShop.com account online. The iPhone app lets you create an account, if you don’t have one already. The Online tab shows your online library of photos at PhotoShop.com and the Upload tab lets you upload your existing photos (or take one on your iPhone) to your online account as well. Before you upload you can add a description and select an album for your pic from the mobile app. When you sign up for a PhotoShop.com account you get a total of 2GB of storage. As always Adobe lets you upgrade to higher plans with subscriptions starting at $19.99 for 20GB all the way up to $500 for 500GB. The settings for PhotoShop.com mobile lets you turn off the annoying tips about dragging to edit etc, and also show your authentication information. Overall PhotoShop.com mobile for the iPhone is a killer app from Adobe that’s free and gives you a place to share 2GB of photos for free with editing options. This is comparable to Picasa with the added ease of having its own usable iPhone app. We highly recommend this app, so go get yours today.
