Erica Sadun from TUAW.com today has released for Apple iPhone a small utility called SendFile, which will allow to manage direct exchange of files between two iPhones.

As the author admits, the utility is absolutely far from perfect and will continue to develop, but SendFile allows two iPhone users quickly send files from one iPhone’s Media/Documents folder to other.

SendFile works perfectly. You have to launch the application on your iPhone, then choose the necessary file and press “Share File” button. After that your friend on his iPhone in SendFile press on “Scan” button, and automatically accepts this file.

Future features of next versions of SendFile: an opportunity to choose the file for downloading (for this moment the application automatically download everything, that will see), and protection of files by passwords. Also, theoretically, using a SendFile technology, it is possible to create elementary network games, such as Chess or Sea fight. But all this in the near future…

I already wrote some times ago about very disappointing situation with the warranty of unlocked Apple iPhones. All iPhones activated outside of “AT&T-slavery” is completely impossible to repair in Apple’s service even with the expanded warranty. Net profit of Apple company in the IV quarter of 2007, which was ended on September, 29th, has made $904 millions in comparison with $542 millions in the IV quarter of 2006. The press-service of Apple company has informed about it. Profit of one stock - is $1,01 ($0,62 in 2006), and the profit of Apple in the IV quarter of 2007 has reached $6,22 billions ($4,84 billion in the IV quarter of 2006). Thus the profit share of sales outside USA, has made 40%.

Within IV quarter of 2007 Apple has released 2,164 millions Macs, it’s on 34% higher in comparison with the similar period of 2006, has released 10,2 million iPod players (growth 17%). The sales volume of Apple iPhones in IV quarter has reached 1,119 million devices, the whole volume of realized gadgets has reached 1,389 million devices from June, 29th.

The company expects stable growth during the next quarter when in USA will begin the Christmas season. Forecasts says that in first quarter of 2008 the profit of Apple company will be about $9,2 billion, and profit on one stock - $1,42.
